A Keep On Pushing Moment: Have Faith
“It is lack of faith that makes people afraid of meeting challenges” ~ Muhammad Ali
I can definitely relate to this quote from the GOAT—The Greatest Of All Time. When I look back on some of the major accomplishments of my life, I know that I was able to achieve them because I simply believed. I believed in myself. I believed in my ability to get it done.
I am sure you know that you have to overcome numerous challenges in order to get from where you are to where you want to be.
You have to get out of your comfort zone—which in itself is a challenge!
You have to get past your fears. You have to deal with all sorts of setbacks and disappointments.
Now, when you believe, it doesn’t mean that the fear simply goes away and the challenges disappear. Believing in yourself really means that you’ve accepted that you might fail. You’ve accepted that the journey will be difficult.
But you know in your gut that you have the strength and resilience to pick yourself, dust yourself off, learn from the experience and to try again. Your belief is a certainty —a knowing that if you give of your best effort, it will somehow pay dividends.
This has been a keep on pushing moment.
